❝I arrived in Manhattan on the Saturday night.  The next morning - it was quite early - I started walking, and had gone about 30 seconds down the road, and came to an intersection right opposite Carnegie Hall.  And there above me, .. a banner above Carnegie Hall that said, 'bringing the transformative power of music to as wide as audience as possible.  I just stopped in my tracks.  Underneath was this long queue of parents & children.  And I thought, How is it?  I've just jumped off a plane after seventeen long hours and this is the first thing I saw?  I thought - I've come to New York for this reason.  Manhattan is huge!  Why did I end up underneath this banner with all these parents & children within the first twenty steps? ... It made me feel that I was in the right place, that I'd come to Manhattan and all my doubts just floated away.  I was meant to be here.❞
